  5. CLASS LIMIT - A rider may not enter the same horse twice in one class at any one show. For free or complimentary classes, only one entry per rider.
  6. LIFETIME EARNINGS – is effective January 1 of the current year. Money earned from all cutting affiliations (CRCC, NCHA, COCHA, OCHA, etc) will be combined to evaluate earnings on horse and/or rider for eligibility of a class.
  7. JACKPOT PAYOUT SCHEDULE

POINTS AND SERIES AWARDS

  1.  Points for all series awards for the CRCC are to be compiled using the following formula: points will be awarded equal to the number of entries in a class, with the first-place entry receiving the number of points, the second-place entry receiving one (1) less point etc. (i.e. in a class with 8 entries, the first-place entry receives 8 points, second place entry receives 7 points, 3rd place receives 6 points, and 8th place receives 1 point). If a contestant is disqualified 0 points will be received.
  2. In the event of a class tie, points are combined and divided equally among the horses involved.
  3. Points toward series awards will be assigned and recorded as follows:
    a. Open, Ranch Cutter, 5000 Novice Horse: points to the horse (rider may be different at each show).
    b. Non-Pro Open, 15000 Amateur, 2000 Limit Rider, 500 Novice Rider, Senior Youth and Junior Youth:
points to the rider (horse may be different at each show).
    c. Two Handed Class: points to both the horse and rider as a team.
  4.  Only points accumulated in closed CRCC shows (open to members only) will apply towards series awards.
  5. In the event of a tie for series awards, the winner will be decided by a ride-off at the last show. You will forfeit if not in attendance at the last show. If still tied after a ride-off, a coin flip by a board member will be used to determine the winner.
  6. To be eligible for series awards, a member must compete in at least 50% plus one (1) of an awarded class during the approved CRCC series shows. For example, if there are 4 shows the member must show in the same class in 3 of the shows to be eligible for that class award. NO EXCEPTIONS.
  7. The high-point horse award will be defined before the start of the series, if decided on by the board to be given as an award.
  8. All horses and riders competing for the series awards must comply with these rules
